The American Legion national commander, members of the National Executive Committee, and commission and committee members will meet to review reports and resolutions.
American Legion National Commander James A. LaCoursiere Jr. will in be Indianapolis May 5-8 for the annual Spring Meetings, along with National Executive Committee (NEC) and commission and committee members.
Commission and committee members will meet May 5-6 at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel to prepare reports and resolutions for delivery to the NEC. The NEC will meet May 7-8 at National Headquarters to hear remarks from LaCoursiere, review the reports and vote on resolutions.
The national commander will address the NEC about 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7. Watch it live on The American Legion’s YouTube channel.
During Spring Meetings, the 2025 American Legion Legacy Scholarship recipients will be announced, as well as the American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year. The Eagle Scout of the Year will be invited to attend the national convention in Tampa, Fla., in August.
