Save the date: TALMA training session on July 29

Dear TALMA members, 

Here is a quick reminder that this month’s virtual training session will focus on best practices for social media — what to post and what not to post. It will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at 7 p.m. Eastern.

If you have questions you would like to submit beforehand or suggested topics to be addressed, feel free to email them in advance. During the session, participants will be able to type questions into the chat window.

The session will feature panelists Mark Sutton and Holly Lewis, adjutant of Post 557 in Wintersville, Ohio. Media and Communications Deputy Director Henry Howard will moderate. If you are unable to attend the live session, we will replay the video during a Watch Party on the private TALMA Facebook group on July 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

In the coming months, we plan to cover other topics, such as how to improve your post’s newsletter, shooting and editing video, interviewing and story writing tips, creating graphics for your social media platforms, and podcasting.
