If your post has a nearby military unit that it works with regularly, sponsoring events and activities for the unit, The American Legion wants to know. Contact us.

Is your American Legion post working closely with a local active-duty, National Guard or reserve unit? Do you invite the unit – and its family members – to post functions, such as dinners or holiday parties?

Do you, as posts and districts in the Department of Wisconsin do, provide support during demobilization briefings, providing food and beverages, as well as access to the Legion service officer? Does your post watch out for the servicemembers’ families after the unit deploys, providing services like snow removal or yard work?

If so, The American Legion wants to hear from you. Tell us about your involvement with your local military involvement. If you have pictures, send them. E-mail Steve Brooks with your information. Please use the subject line "Military support."
