Tree Town Music Festival recognizes The American Legion as its official charity, honoring active-duty military, veterans and their families.
Tree Town Musical Festival in Forest City, Iowa, is proud to announce the official charity for its two-day country music event — The American Legion.
Held at Heritage Park May 23-25, the festival will bring Nashville to Iowa with live performances from several of country music’s hottest stars, such as Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert and Chris Young.
“The support of Tree Town Music Festival is a great display of patriotism and one more reason I’m proud to call Iowa home,” said American Legion Department of Iowa Commander Jim Demarest. “Through the Home Base Iowa initiative, Gov. Terry Branstad has issued a statewide commitment to welcoming newly discharged veterans to live and work in Iowa. Tree Town Music Festival has answered that call through support of The American Legion.”
In addition to music, Tree Town Music Festival will feature beer tents, a variety of food vendors, rock climbing and bounce houses. American Legion service officers from the Department of Iowa will also be in attendance to meet with veterans about claims benefits and opportunities available through the Home Base Iowa initiative.
Tree Town Music Festival and The American Legion created discounted ticket prices to make it an affordable destination event for active-duty military, veterans and their families. A three-day general admission passes is $110 per person and a single-day general admission is $60 per person. Use promo code “LEGION” at checkout to receive the discount.
