Riders urged to submit images of their motorcycles and trikes all decked out for the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Some of the most patriotic paint schemes, chrome, saddlebags, flags and accessories can be found on motorcycles and trikes owned and ridden by American Legion Family members.
Each year, the annual Legacy Run to benefit the Legion’s Veterans & Children Foundation is a spectacle of American pride that draws crowds to line streets and highways.
In honor of the nation’s semiquincentennial, the American Legion Ad Hoc Committee on the Nation’s 250th Anniversary is calling on Legion Riders, Legionnaires, American Legion Auxiliary members and Sons of The American Legion to show their colors.
Images and descriptions of patriotic-themed bikes and trikes on the Legiontown USA web platform, under the category USA 250, will be selected for a special American Legion Magazine layout in the summer of 2026. Images will also be shared on the national American Legion Instagram, Facebook, X and other platforms.
Those who submit are encouraged to recognize the artist/designer and describe the meaning behind the look of the machine. Published images will require permission and a release from the artist/designer.
Make your submission at legion.org/legiontown under the category USA 250.
