More than $60M in grant money awarded to VA facilities

The "Journal of Military Experience" authors have unique military experiences but came together to write about them in their student publication at Eastern Kentucky University.

VA recently awarded grants to a few medical facilities.

VA recently awarded grants to the following medical facilities:

Two grants totaling $5.2 million for improvements at the state-run facilities in Minneapolis and Silver Bay, Minn.

A $14.7 million grant to build a replacement nursing-home care and domiciliary facility at the state veterans home in Lisbon, N.D.

A $38.3 million contract to the Walsh Construction Company of Chicago to construct an Ambulatory Care Center for the VA Pittsburgh Health Care System.

A grant of up to $3.7 million to the state veterans home in Tilton, N.H.
