The toolkit was created to educate veterans about the program.

The Department of Veterans Affairs recently premiered a Veterans Choice Program resource page on its website. Equipped with a toolkit containing a large amount of information on the program, the site was designed to help community partners assist those already enrolled for care with VA to determine whether or not they are eligible to use the Choice Program.

The website provides information for organizations and veterans to disseminate, including the toolkit’s downloadable materials: fact sheets, sample communications and answers to frequently asked questions that allow users and service providers access to the most up-to-date information.

Those who are unable to find the information they are looking for on the site can take advantage of the live chat feature and speak directly with a customer service agent. On the website, users can also download the resources provided in the toolkit and locate a Choice Program provider near them.
