These predatory companies tell veterans they can help veterans increase their disability claims — but at a cost.
American Legion Deputy Director for Benefits and Claims Services, Marty Callaghan, is testifying before the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (HVAC) on predatory claims companies this week.
The HVAC Subcommittees on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs and Oversight and Investigations will hold a joint hearing titled “At What Cost? Ensuring Quality Representation in the Veteran Benefit Claims Process.” The hearing will take place on April 27 at 2 p.m.
