The American Legion event will be held March 5 in Hurricane and March 6 in Cedar City where veterans can learn about the organization and receive veteran benefits assistance.
Veterans in and around Southwest Utah area are invited to a two-day outreach effort hosted by the American Legion Department of Utah.
The effort will take place at two locations:
- Thursday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sterling Russell American Legion Post 111 at 634 100 West, Hurricane.
- Friday, March 6, from 1-4 p.m. at the Cedar City Library at 303 North 100 East, Cedar City.
American Legion staff and members will be available to discuss veteran benefits, The American Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities, the organization’s four pillars and service to the community.
A veteran service officer will be on site during event hours to assist area veterans with claims, benefits inquiries, and other veteran-related support.
