Page features findings from Legion’s System Worth Saving Task Force’s first series of 2011-2012 VA site visits.

The American Legion’s Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Division, working with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Rural Health to develop a Rural Veterans Health Care page on www.legion.org.

From October 2011 to May 2012, The American Legion’s System Worth Saving program focused on challenges veterans living in rural areas face with receiving VA health care. On the Rural Health page, users can download the System Worth Saving rural health report’s findings and recommendations, rural veteran statistics, and information on VA’s rural health programs and initiatives.
