Veterans and family members invited to town hall meeting Sept. 19 at American Legion Post 735 in Summit, Ill.

The American Legion invites all Chicago area veterans and their family members to a town hall meeting to discuss their Veterans Affairs health care.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19 at Argo-Summit American Legion Post 735 at 6050 Harlem Ave., in Summit, Ill.

The town hall event is one of about a dozen that the Legion will conduct around the United States this year. The Legion hosts these events to hear feedback from veterans about the quality of health care they receive at their local VA facility.

Representatives from The American Legion Department of Illinois, The American Legion National Headquarters office in Washington, D.C., and VA, as well as members of the Illinois congressional delegation, will be in attendance for the meeting.

For more information, contact Past National Commander and current American Legion Department of Illinois Adjutant Marty Conatser at mconatser@illegion.org.
