The town hall meeting will be held on Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. inside the Germantown Church of Christ.
The American Legion will hold a town hall to hear comments and concerns from all veterans who receive their health care at the Memphis VA Medical Center.
The meeting will be held on Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. inside the Germantown Church of Christ located at 8723 Poplar Pike, Germantown, Tenn.
The town hall event is one of about a dozen that The American Legion will conduct around the United States this year. The American Legion hosts these events to hear feedback from veterans about the quality of health care they receive at their local VA facility.
Staff from The American Legion National Headquarters office in Washington, D.C., The American Legion Department of Tennessee, as well as representatives from VA and members of the Tennessee congressional delegation will be in attendance.
The goal of the town hall is to ensure veterans, their families and beneficiaries have the opportunity to be heard and have their health care concerns addressed.
Veterans who may not be able to attend the town hall may leave their opinion about the Memphis VA by submitting an email to townhall@legion.org.
The mailbox is not staffed and you will not receive a response. All responses will be compiled and evaluated for overall effectiveness of VA health care and services provided.
If you have an immediate concern, please call the VA’s 24-hour complaint hotline at (855) 948-2311.
