Commission and committee meetings will be held through Zoom; National Commander Paul E. Dillard will present testimony March 8 that will be livestreamed.
The American Legion’s 2022 Washington Conference will again be held virtually for safety reasons regarding COVID-19 and because of restricted public access to congressional offices in Washington, D.C. However, Legionnaires can still participate in this year’s Washington Conference commission and committee meetings via Zoom.
See the 2022 Washington Conference schedule with links to join the meetings virtually. All meetings will be held Saturday, March 5.
“Though the 2022 American Legion Washington Conference will not be the massive gathering that we have enjoyed prior to the pandemic, members of the nation’s largest veterans organization can expect meaningful results to arise from our virtual advocacy,” wrote National Commander Paul E. Dillard.
Dillard will present The American Legion’s priorities to a joint session of the House and Senate Committees on Veterans’ Affairs at 10 a.m. Eastern Tuesday, March 8. Tune in here to watch it live.
