"My America" tells the story of living in America through the eyes of a baby boomer. During this 75-year period the country engaged in multi wars, extreme political discourse, riots, mass shootings, a cold war that threatened nuclear attack at any time, a civil rights movement that enhanced the rights of all citizens, attempts to overturn voting rights, bigotry, a nationwide drug problem, a pandemic that claimed the lives of over 1 million Americans, and economic turmoil.

We have had armed extremists attack our institutions at the state and federal level, and political leaders who believe they are above the law. Additionally, we have suffered increasing natural disasters of hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, massive power outages and raging fires throughout the country attributed to climate change. Foreign adversaries daily are attacking our infrastructure through cyberattacks.
