SPOTLIGHT ON DEPARTMENT OF OHIO GOLF TOURNAMENT Hosted by Kettering Post 598, a fun time was had by all including Department of Ohio 2nd Vice Commander Charles Stennis, District 3 Commander Betsy Kemper Law, and past 3rd District Commander Joseph Law. It was a beautiful day to visit with Legionnaires and their guests. The foursome that stood out this weekend out of about 28 teams was this "young" bunch of golf pros bringing up the rear from Kettering Post 598: Charlie Poeppelmeier, Matt Conlon, Louis G. Fischer and Phil Stephenson.

After the golf outing, we headed to their post. What took my breath away was the beautiful Chevy Nova Charlie was showing off at the "Cruise In" he coordinates every fourth Sunday of the month at the post that brings in a heck of a crowd, including veterans that aren't members yet. Thank you, Post 598, for a great memorable weekend! Thank you, veterans, for your service.
