On both Saturdays they made their post hall available to 16 different military-related organizations for a “Meet and Greet,” such as the USO, American Legion Department of Texas Service Officer, American Legion National Recruiter of the Year, American GI Forum, M D Anderson Blood Mobile, Walgreens Flu Shots, VA Hospital, and others. Free flu shots were offered and a successful blood drive was held.
On the final Saturday, November 14, the Dickinson Independent School district AFJROTC Unit beautifully performed the POW/MIA Ceremony in the hall.
