“Reflecting” *
By Peter LaVilla

As I look at the military grave sites,
And the men and women who
Made the ultimate sacrifice,
It is suffice to say
We remember you well.
And we thank you.
You did not die in vain.

Police, firemen teachers,
Preserving freedom,
You are our daily heroes.
And we thank you.

These are the things
I think about when I stand
At attention for our National Anthem.
