"You're Our Soldiers" It doesn't matter that I never met you, As you're laid to rest in formation in rows of white marble, only in your youth. Then you died for all of us and now you're finally home, Forever in God's care. As we put the American flag on your graves, We say, "God Bless you and your family and the sacrifice you gave,"

"You're Our Soldiers"
It doesn't matter that I never met you,
As you're laid to rest in formation in rows of white marble,
only in your youth.
Then you died for all of us and now you're finally home,
Forever in God's care.
As we put the American flag on your graves,
We say, "God Bless you and your family and the sacrifice you gave,"
Giving freedom to us with your precious blood,
And as the bald eagle flies,
my aching heart feels eternal gratitude as I kneel
to put an angel on the grass where you rest,
I want you to know you're our soldiers,
You're our heroes, our fallen brethren.
And I will come here again because I'll never forget,
That you're our soldiers, our heroes, our fallen brethren.
