History is repeating itself and American's are woefully prepared to deal with this crisis. Media is reporting inaccurate data, "Leaders" are not prepared. Part of the country is committed to it's downfall (one certain political party in particular). We've spent the last 3+ years attacking each other because of politics, it was only a matter of time till they weakened the minds, spirit, and purpose of Americans. What am I doing, planning, preparing, and finding purpose. Not hiding, not avoiding family and friends, and carrying on knowing that this is just another hyped government attack on it's people.
Not without exception, this so called Pandemic, is a mild case of the flu. During the 2017-2018 flu season, 60,000 people died of a common strain of the flu and we weren’t shutting down the economy and making runs on a diminishing supply of toilet paper! The sky is NOT falling! Give us our economy back!

Trump knows his base. He brags that he could shoot someone in the middle of fifth Avenue and he would not lose any supporters. Yes, and those supporters prove him correct every day. They threaten the lives of those doctors who are working to save as many lives as possible.
I hope that this disease will bring the leaders and people around the world to the realization that we must work together to stop climate change,wars,and hate.
The real issue is the world became too complacent and relied too heavily on a COMMUNIST nation; a nation bent on dominating the world. Hopefully, the world, and especially the U.S.A. learns it's lesson from this stupidity. Well this country sure saved a lot of money buying cheap goods from the Communist Chinese, now we're paying the true price. Our entire foreign debt to China should be cancelled, a complete embargo needs to be place on all goods from China, their property in the U.S.A should be seized, all of their students expelled from this country and all funding of WHO (another Communist agency) should cease. Then, just maybe, we can consider the cost in American lives and the chaos to our economy and other financial losses be a fair trade.
I remember in 1952,Dr Jonas Salk,at the Pittsburgh medical school,developed the polio vaccine. Now that medical school is working on a vaccine. They believe it can be admistered using a small patch.other medical schools are working on possible vaccines to fight this disease. In the meantime we must follow CDC advice and the medical experts.
As an older veteran Vietnam era I don't see any cure on the horizon!! Estimates for a cure are 12 to 18 months away . Even though I am not currently sick I am in the high percentile to meet my fate . I have mixed emotions but what really pisses me off are some political numb nuts telling me and other older veterans our time is up . It's our duty to die for our country and make room for more political numb nuts!! You politicians know who your are ! You need to grow some balls and represent your country , the citizens who voted you into office . I don't lie down for anyone ! I plan to kick and fight to the bitter end and hope for a better life for my family . BILL
