Sons of The American Legion celebrated in new online exhibit

The Sons of The American Legion’s history is featured in a new online exhibit from the Emil A. Blackmore Museum, published this month. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sons’ first national convention in 1972, the exhibit explores the formation and early history of the program, as well as more recent events.

The online exhibit offers visitors a glimpse into the history of the organization through photos, artifacts and documents, including historical newsletters and brochures. Throughout the exhibit links can also be found to various resources housed in the Legion’s digital archive.

Visitors can view the exhibit on the Blackmore website. Past exhibits can be seen here.
