Legion’s National Membership & Post Activities Committee members meeting in Indianapolis.
Members of The American Legion’s National Membership & Post Activities Committee will meet in Indianapolis Jan.12-13 to plan for the upcoming membership year.
The annual meeting will be conducted by Membership & Post Activities Committee Chairman Randy Goodman of Georgia. Special guest speakers include leading candidate for 2018-2019 national commander Brett Reistad of Virginia, who will share his vision and plan during his tenure as national commander, and retired Lt. Gen. Patricia McQuistion, vice president of membership and meetings for the Association of the United States Army.
During the two-day planning session, committee members will hear about marketing initiatives that support the Legion's membership plan, women and minority veterans outreach efforts, and updates on the 100th Anniversary Observance Committee.
