Outreach, membership effort coming to Oregon

American Legion national staff and Department of Oregon Legionnaires are teaming up next week for a district revitalization and veterans outreach effort in Northwestern Oregon.

The three-day effort will take place at Seaside American Legion Post 99, 1315 Broadway St., Seaside. The hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 25-26 and 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 27.

A county veterans service officer will be available all three days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related questions and claims.
