Membership effort headed to Washington state

American Legion Post 43 in Sedro Woolley hosting district revitalization Feb. 17-18.

The American Legion Department of Washington and American Legion national staff are working together Feb. 17-18 on a district revitalization and veterans outreach effort based in Sedro Woolley, Wash.

Veterans in the area are invited to the effort to learn about American Legion programs and potential veterans benefits. The effort will take place from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. both days at George Baldridge American Legion Post 43, 701 Murdock St., Sedro Woolley.

A county veterans service officer will be available both days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related issues and other veterans benefits-related questions.
