Revitalization effort taking place May 14 at Post 217 in College Park.
Department of Maryland Legionnaires are conducting a revitalization effort in and around Southern Maryland on May 14. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at John B. Latimer American Legion Post 217, 9218 Baltimore Ave., College Park.
Veterans in the area are invited to learn about American Legion programs, the Legion’s lobbying efforts and potential benefits. A veteran service officer will be available to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related issues and other veterans benefits-related questions.
