Department of Wyoming Legionnaires are staging revitalization and veteran outreach efforts at two sites Nov. 4-6 in the Cody and Worland area.
On Nov. 4, the effort will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Best Western Ivy Inn, 1800 8th St. Cody, WY. There will also be an open house on November 5-6 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at American Legion Post 44, 129 S. 7th St., Worland.
Members of The American Legion will be on hand to conduct a recruitment drive, conduct Buddy Checks, and provide training. The Department of Wyoming Service Officer Dwight Null will be on hand to assist with VA claims and answer questions about services and entitlements for veterans.
American Legion national staff also will be on hand to to answer questions, provide training on mylegion,org, and other training, and discuss initiatives from headquarters.
