Veterans outreach set for Baltimore area

Department of Maryland Legionnaires are staging a revitalization and veteran outreach effort from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 24-25 in the Baltimore area. The effort will take place at American Legion Post 19, 1502 Madison Ave., Baltimore.

Veterans in the area are invited to learn about American Legion programs, the Legion’s lobbying efforts and potential veterans benefits. A department veterans service officer will be available to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related issues and other veterans benefits-related questions, including PACT Act assistance.
