From Sept. 30-Oct. 2, the revitalization team will go door to door, contacting Post 225 members and delinquent American Legion members. There also will be two town hall meetings – attended by Department of Michigan Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation staff – during the revitalization effort; the first is at 6 p.m., Sept., 30 at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R St., Room D1290, while the second is at 3 p.m., Oct. 1, at the Latin Americans for Social and Economic Development Community Center, 7150 W. Vernor Highway.
