This memorial is dedicated to Tinker, a Japanese canine survivor befriended by U.S. troops. Tinker was originally buried at the pet cemetery but was later moved to a different place by loved ones who thought he deserved a more dignified resting place. He was born approximately 1943 and died Jan. 15, 1962.
