Trussville Veterans Monument

Trussville Veterans Monument
The memorial is in Civitan Park located at the intersection of Parkway Drive and U.S. Highway 11 in Trussville, Ala. The memorial honors Trussville veterans of all wars with their names on five granite tablets. Each of the five sides of the monument's 30-foot tower holds a tablet listing military veterans from the Trussville area from the War of 1812 until the present. The tower is surrounded by a circular sandstone wall that serves as a bench. Flagpoles surround the monument with lighting in the evening to create an impressive view of the tower. The names of 228 Trussville veterans are inscribed on the memorial.
