A Joint Veteran's Day program was sponsored by the Oak Grove VFW and the American Legion Nov. 11, 2016. Archie Chapman Oak Grove V. F. W., and Chuck Calvert American Legion place a wreath at the War Memorial dedicated to all West Carroll Veterans of all wars to which they participated. This Memorial is located at the entrance of the West Carroll Parish Court House in Oak Grove, LA. It was sponsored by local Veteran groups, and dedicated November 11, 1970.
