Dennis, Massachusetts World War II Honor Roll

Dennis, Massachusetts World War II Honor Roll
This wooden upright frame houses a glass-covered printed listing of 79 names, which include three females as well as two that are designated "died in service". The memorial is positioned to be highly visible by pedestrians and car occupants on Massachusetts Highway 6A ("Old King's Highway") since it is near the center of the northern edge of a large grass area which also contains a gazebo, approximately a dozen park benches, and a flagpole. A small sign states that these other features were the work of the Village Improvement Society". Directly south of the park is the Dennis Union Church
