The Four Chaplains
The memorial is a small granite tablet set on a concrete foundation approximately 2ft. x 4 ft. located at the entrance to the Temple Emanuel in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The tablet describes the heroic sacrifices made by the four chaplains aboard the USS Dorchester after it was torpedoed on February 3, 1943.
