Valley Veteran's Memorial

Valley Veteran's Memorial
A flagpole is the focal point of the park and is surrounded by stone monuments honoring specific groups of veterans as well as each service branch. It features a brick sidewalk, along with a gazebo and some benches. The park was designed by Calvin Hinz, an Omaha architect who is a member of the Valley veterans’ group. Nearly all of the work was done by at least 30 volunteers, including Boy Scouts and American Legion youth baseball team members as well as local veterans.
