Vietnam Veteran's Memorial State Park, Angel Fire, New Mexico
The site consists of a sculpted wooded section with a man-made stream running through it, a bronze of the Westphall's son, a small but stunning white chapel at the hilltop's apex, and a UH-1 Huey static display about to land. Inside is a museum room with a number of memorabilia: uniforms, countless dog tags, and more. The family established the memorial foundation in 1968 after their son David was KIA in Vietnam, and built the original site. It has now become one of the New Mexico State Parks.
