This bronze plaque, includes the names of Freeporters who died while serving in the military during the Civil War, Spanish American War, and World War I. It includes the inscription “In this Memorial / As in the hearts of the people of Freeport / The Memorial of the Men and Women who served in the / Wars of our Country will be enshrined forever.”
