
The memorial is a fountain and tablet sitting on a triangle of land at the corner of Main Street and Jerome Avenue in the town of Cairo, N.Y. A walkway leads from the point of the triangle to the tablet. A flagpole is installed on the right side of the fountain. The bronze tablet contains the names of 44 men and women who are veterans of World War I from the town of Cairo.
