Veterans Memorial is dedicated to honor all of the veterans from the Stanley-Alexis area who died for this country in world wars. The 30x35 foot granite and brick monument is located between the Stanley Post Office off Old Mount Holly Road. Veterans and Legionnaires sold about 157 of the 4 by 8 bricks and about 87 or 88 of the 8 by 8 bricks representing approximately 200 veterans.
