In July of 2016 American Legion Post 495 of Belpre, Ohio was granted permission by the city to move its "Veterans Honor Walk" from it's original location of ten years on Florence Street to a new, more visible, location. On November 11, 2016 the new "Veterans Honor Walk" was dedicated at 1614 Washington Boulevard in Howes Grove Park beside the Belpre Senior Citizens Center. In the first 6 months the number of Veterans honored doubled and is still growing thanks to the support of this fine community.
