It is a veteran's park located at 109 E. Jane Jayroe Blvd on the SE side by the traffic light in Laverne, Oklahoma. It honors the 1898 Spanish-American War, 1914-1918 WWI 1941-1945 WWII, 1950-1953 Korean War, 1953-1973 The Cold War, 1957-1978 Vietnam War, 1990-1992 Persian Gulf War,and 2001- Operation Enduring Freedom. The center of the memorial circle has the boots, rifle and helmet memorial. Behind this circle is the veteran's bricks each veteran bought to finance this memorial. Then behind that we have the American Flag surrounded by all the Armed Forces Flags.
