The Veteran Success Center held its grand opening on November 11, 2016. The Center is a large space consisting of several study and meeting rooms off a main central area, configured with a reception desk, tables and chairs, cubicles, a media center with multiple computer work stations and printers, and a lounge area with big-screen TV, couches, and easy chairs. The American and Oklahoma flags are prominently displayed, together with the Service flags of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. In the lounge area is a special wall display of OAMC (Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College) and OSU (Oklahoma State University) alumni who have been inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame (OMHF). The display features the OMHF emblem with the motto: "SPIRIT OF A WARRIOR HEART OF A PATRIOT", the title: "OAMC & OSU INDUCTEES THE OKLAHOMA MILITARY HALL OF FAME", and is followed by a series of individual etched portraits of inductees. The Center was the product of a joint effort between OSU and Northern Oklahoma College (NOC), and opened a new chapter for veteran and military-affiliated students on both campuses. The special OMHF display recognizes representative university veterans who have given so much towards the defense of our great nation.
