In Honor of the Men and Women who served in World War I from Rockledge Borough (Montomgery County) and Fox chase (city of Philadelphia) Fox Chase
Two 13' high topped with bronze culldrens originally built with plaster over brick and rebuilt with granite and rededicated November 11th 2008 through the efforts of Jennie and Conrad Kraus Past Commander of American Legion Post 366 Corporal John Loudenslager pro bono. The Emergency Aid Committee later of Pennsylvania supplied clothing to the U.S service men and women and allies in France and Belguim serving in the "GREAT WAR". The monuments have been accepted into the Pennsylvania Historic Society of collections in June 2015. A time capsule was opened that gave a history of the Rockledge, Fox Chase Branch of the Emergency Aid Committee organized to support the troops in 1917.
