American Legion Post 790 Service Memorials
Multiple memorials on the grounds of American Legion Post 790. The first is a bronze plaque titled the Smithton Service Roll with the names of those who served in World War I. The second is a granite pillar with a small bronze plaque honoring all who served and an eagle emblem carved in the monolith that was erected in 1958. The third was installed in 2011 and memorializes the service of all who served, are serving, or will serve in the future. Reflective black granite with engraved eagle and the emblems of the six Armed Services,Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine.
