Hannastown Honor Roll has a flagpole originally honoring WW I and WWII veterans from Hannastown, Pennsylvania. Later names were added for Korea and Vietnam Wars on an additional granite marker. One of the names on the Vietnam Honor Roll is Hannastown native Lt. Col. Thomas W. Sima , US Air Force. He was shot down over North Vietnam in 1965 and was a POW until their release in 1973.
