June McDermott Memorial Gardens
Legion Post 128 acquired ownership of a historic 19th century cemetery in which veterans of the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Civil War are buried. They erected a granite monument with the names of those veterans that are buried there. The cemetery was renamed in honor of June McDermott, deceased long time Post Adjutant who served in the Women’s Army Corps in World War II.
