Memorial Park

Memorial Park
The park contains plaques honoring the service of local area residents during all periods. Some trees have markers with names of individuals in whose memory they were planted. The park is maintained by the Borough, and is the terminus of the Memorial Day Parade. After the parade, a program is held, during which the names of veterans who have died in the last year are read, three rifle volleys are rendered, and taps is played.
