6 foot tall bronze statue of Union soldier on a 25 foot tall base. Originally located at Greensburg City Hall, it was left in place in 1949, when city hall moved. The property became part of The Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Due to a museum expansion it was relocated in 2015 to Courthouse Square and re-purposed as a general veterans monument. Due to the efforts of the Westmoreland Veterans Monument Preservation Committee, it was refurbished and a new base was built.
