The Freedom Walk contains memorials to Lewis County, Washington service men and women who gave their lives in various wars starting in 1898. The Sentinel, the first memorial erected, was in honor of four American Legion veterans killed in the "Centralia Massacre" on November 11, 1919. Later memorials were added as indicated in the photos. The walk was dedicated in 1993.
