The Spring Green Veterans Memorial is located in the village’s Veterans Park. The village of Spring Green donated the land for the memorial in its North Park. When the memorial was dedicated, the village renamed the park “Veterans Park” in honor of all the Spring Green area residents, living and dead, who served in any of the uniformed services since the War of 1812, and includes the reserves and National Guard. The memorial includes six granite monoliths engraved with the names of over 1,300 Spring Green-area residents. That list of veterans listed by conflict includes six from the War of 1812 (1812-1815) and two each from the Mexican War (1846-1848) and the Spanish-American War (1898-1902). The memorial includes pavers and granite benches engraved with personal dedications. Spring Green Legion Post 253 sold their “clubhouse” to the village to be remodeled for the Spring Green Police Department. The additional funds needed to cover the total cost and fund the trust for future maintenance were donated by many in the Spring Green area. The memorial was dedicated on Sept. 30, 2023.
