Reminder to departments: Eagle Scout nominations due April 1

April 1 is the deadline for American Legion departments to submit their top Eagle Scout nominee to National Headquarters for the 2023 American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year award. Nominate an Eagle Scout here. 

Currently, 11 departments have submitted a nominee.

The American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year will receive a $10,000 scholarship. Three runner-up scholarship awards will be granted in the amount of $2,500 each. Applicants that have questions or need additional information about their application, or the application process, should contact their respective American Legion department (state) headquarters.
