The American Legion National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and National Firefighter of the Year awards are presented annually during national convention. It’s an opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice these men and women provide to their community.

The American Legion will provide the award winner with travel, hotel and other expenses to the 102nd National Convention in Louisville, Ky., in late August for recognition.
